On this energetic release, the Franco-Spanish rapper and sometime punk luminary Bruno “Sergent” Garcia (a sort of hip-hop Manu Chao) takes his “salsamuffin” Latin-reggae fusion to Colombia – very much the destination of the moment.
Throwing in everything from Balkan brass to local Vallenata accordion, he creates a bubbling, good-hearted stew that doesn’t generate quite enough of a flavour of its own.
